James must still be among us —
we still need him!

Wars, both hybrid and conventional,
genocide, massacres and cruelty
are rampant throughout the world,
and worse than ever before.

Suffering, injustice, abuse, bullying
and discrimination,
as well as online stoning,
all occupy the space of human relationships.

Those who saw him sucked into an explosion
in his latest film say he is dead,
but that is not the case,
that cannot be the case.

Bond is still with us;
we need him.

He will save us.

He will save the planet once again
from the Spectre of megalomaniacal madness,
from the Evil that occupies
the streets of our cities,
the displays of our smartphones,
the screens of our computers.
